Is BeautyBlender Cruelty Free & Vegan?

I finally caved to the hype and picked up a BeautyBlender, the most brilliant make up sponge a hopeless beauty lover could ever wish for. It picks up the perfect amount of product and blends concealer and foundation like an absolute dream - but is the brand vegan/cruelty-free?

DO THEY TEST ON ANIMALS?
Nope.

DO THEY SELL IN CHINA?
Beautyblender do sell in China through Sephora's website. However, as they are classed as a beauty accessory and not a beauty product they are not required to test on animals nor are the products subject to testing in China.

IS THE RANGE VEGAN?
Yes! The entire BeautyBlender collection and cleansers are 100% cruelty free and vegan. Good bloody times.

Thank you BeautyBlender for being ethically sound.

    1. Hello lovely! I'm so sorry I completely missed this comment! I've been in touch with them and they said that they do ship to China through Sephora (which is contrary to what they told me, just goes to show you shouldn't believe everything you're told...) but because their product comes under 'accessory' and not a 'cosmetic', they are not liable for animal testing in China :-) Thank you so much for your comment, I'm going to update this blog post now! xxxxx

  3. I am willing to do my makeup course from Lina Cameron, who trains best makeup lesson in my state. Before joining, I want to know about some basic tools and want to purchase for having some general-knowledge about makeup. I have seen sponges are really good to blend makeup. I heard about Real Technique one, reasonable but good quality. Also its cruelty free! Do you have any idea about that one?

  4. Beauty Blender has now come
Out with a foundation line. Because they sell in China, are they officially no longer cruelty free??

  5. I'm confused by this. If they are selling cleansers and foundations in China, those are tested on animals and are not cruelty free nor Vegan. Please update your post. It is very misleading.
