After switching out your makeup and toiletries to cruelty free brands, one of the next logical steps to becoming a more conscious consumer is to start switching over your household products as well. I'm here to talk you through my favourites. Watch my video on my favs here.
For many people, this process of starting to change the brands you buy cleaning products from can seem quite daunting, in part because cleaning brands may not be as easily well-known as being cruelty-free in comparison to beauty brands. Alas, I wanted to let you know about a brand that we have been using for a long time in my household called Astonish. Super cheap, super effective + available at a load of UK stores including Asda, Poundland + Robert Dyas. I think when I have a household of my own (I still live with my parents at the moment) (and will be doing so for the forseeable future) (high house prices am I right), I'll try to make all of my own cleaning products from fabulous natural ingredients such as vinegar, lemon + baking soda, which I give a mention in my video too. However, for now I have to go with the household as a whole, so I can recommend Astonish as a great option as their products are really accessible for students or cruelty-free shoppers still living at home who want conventional cleaning products without the cruelty.

ReplyDeleteTo clean oven needn't be a problem or a test with your burning self-cleaning capacity. All you need is heating pop and vinegar! Make a spreadable glue of heating pop and water, utilizing about one-portion of some preparing pop and a couple of tablespoons of water. Leave the combination short-term. Wipe the glue off with a moist material the following day. Then, at that point, splash white vinegar over any excess difficult to-eliminate heating pop (or only everywhere within the broiler). Wipe within the broiler down once again with a clammy fabric, and you're finished! Favorable to tips: Clean the racks independently in the sink with the preparing soft drink arrangement. Likewise, be careful not to get preparing soft drink glue on the warming components in the stove.
