Zoeva Makeup Brushes Review

Taking the vow to go cruelty-free with my make up collection meant saying goodbye to my make-up brushes that contained animal hair. In my quest to replace my disgarded/donated brushes, I made an order from a European brand Zoeva.com. They have a great selection of high-quality vegan make-up tools and I am here today to share said purchases with you and walk you through my picks.

A quick run through of the lot: the 227 Vegan Soft Definer is a semi-dense blending brush; the 226 Smudger is a short shader brush which is great for working shadow into the lashline; the 310 Spot Liner is a very fine detailer brush I use for more precise eyeliner application on the lash line; and the 228 Eye Finish is a duo-fibre blending brush.

I'm very happy with my little cruelty-free haul as well as with the service and speedy delivery from Zoeva. If I'm honest, the only brush I wasn't overly impressed with was the 228. I do still get use out of it but the synthetic bristles are slightly rough around the eye, so I would say the 227 works better if you're after a vegan brush for doing a gentle job of blending eyeshadow or setting concealer etc.

And without further ado, here are the cheap and cheerful cruelty-free brushes I purchased...
