Are Colourpop Cruelty Free & Vegan?

The American brand Colourpop make great quality cosmetics at a really reasonable price. Though they are quite tricky to get hold of in the UK for now, I'm really hoping that this will change at some stage (please!!!). But are they cruelty-free or vegan?

It's great to see that Colourpop hold the PETA Cruelty Free badge of honour Beauty Without Bunnies. Many companies can simply state that they are cruelty-free but (with no actual definition for the label 'cruelty-free') you want to look for this kind of certification so that there is solid evidence that they are truly cruelty-free. Colourpop actually also have a vast selection of vegan products too throughout their range. The only exceptions (non-vegan products) are the following:

SUPER SHOCK SHADOWS IN: Tea Party; Bae; Mittens; Lace; Bubbly; Kindness; Party Time; Mixed Tape; Central Perk; Straight Trippin; Stereo; Crimper; Baby T; Party Girl; Fan Firl; Porter; Beverly.

SUPER SHOCK CHEEK; Birthday Suit; Fox; HighlyWaisted (Pearlized); Hippo (Pearlized); Most Necessary (Pearlized); Thumper (Pearlized); Sticky Sweet (Pearlized); Tasty (Pearlized); Teasecake (Pearlized); Wisp (Pearlized); Electric Slide (Pearlized).

ULTRA MATTE LIP: Tulle.

CREME GEL COLOUR & LINER: Call Me; Best O; No Shame; DTLA.

CREME GEL COLOUR: Ho Ho.

CREME GEL LINER: Frill.

But other than that, it's pretty much plain sailing as all other products don't have animal derived ingredients in. Happy days. Colourpop officially has pride of place on my Cruelty Free Master Post!
